Who is responsible
This site is run by Events Authority, founded by Tracie Crites. Events Authority decides what personal information is collected here and how it is used. Questions or requests go through thecontact form.
What is collected
- What you send through a form. The assessment and contact forms ask for your name, work email, company, role, and your message; the assessment form also asks for an event budget range. Nothing is collected from a form until you submit it.
- Standard request logs. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages record technical details of each request (IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, uses no tracking pixels, and loads no third-party scripts.
Why it is used
- To read and reply to what you sent, and to prepare the assessment you asked for.
- To keep the site and its forms secure, for example limiting how many messages one address can send in a short time.
Your details are not sold, rented or shared with anyone for their own marketing, and you will not be added to a mailing list because you used a form.
Who processes it
Two service providers handle data on Events Authority's behalf, only to run and understand the site:
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site, keeps request logs, and protects it from abuse.
- Resend delivers form submissions by email to Events Authority.
How long it is kept
Form submissions are kept for as long as it takes to reply and follow up, and for no more than 24 months after the last contact, then deleted. Request logs are kept by Cloudflare under its own retention schedule.
Your choices
You can ask what information Events Authority holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. Use the contact form and the request will be answered.
Children
This site is for business readers and is not directed at children.
Changes
If how this site handles personal information changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top is updated.
